Greenville edifice donating sales in protest of President Trump's campaign stop



GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN)- A business in Greenville says it's peacefully complaintive President Donald Trump's campaign stop within the east by donating its sales to AN immigration non-profit.

Matthew Scully, the owner of The room in Uptown Greenville, says that his store is donating 100 percent of Wednesday's payoff to the yank Immigration Council.

A sign announce on the front same the funds' area unit supposed "...to help with the immigration crisis at our southern border, and to celebrate our various community."

Scully same he wished to try and do one thing positive for the community that brings folks along rather than tearing them apart.

On its web site, the yank Immigration Council delineated  what it does:

"The Council brings along drawback solvers and employs four coordinated approaches to advance change—litigation, research, legislative and body support, and communications. With this activity, the Council works to advance positive public attitudes and make a lot of hospitable America—one that gives a good method for immigrants and adopts immigration laws and policies that take under consideration the requirements of the U.S. economy."
